When someone asks you "Who are you?", what is the very first thing that comes to your mind?

Your name comes up, however is that who you are? Your name does not define you, it just states what you were called at birth, or after marriage or after adoption. Your name is just words of recognition.

Next, might be your job, but that's not who you are, that's what you do. Many that have careers that are very important to them, define themselves by what they do. Yet again, that is not the 'true' you. That is only another piece of what you do.

You could say, I'm a mother, a father, a brother, a sister, a child, a grandparent, an aunt, an uncle, a friend, a neighbor - again that is not the true you.

And then there is your personality. You may be happy, sad, depressed, outgoing, introvert, extrovert - and this is where the message starts. I received the following message from spirit and wanted to share with you:

Go beyond your personality traits, your interests, your experiences. Go deep inside into the silence to discover the true nature of you. The true you. Universe/Source/God wants you to discover that special unique essence that is part of you. There is perfect god/goddess at the core of your soul. When you realize that, you will see clearly the true path your experience are taking you on and what parts of your life you must let go of in order to experience more happiness and integrity. This is a time of awakening and waking up to the core of who you are and the great potential you hold in each moment.

We are all children of a Higher Source whether we choose to acknowledge it or not. We are all children going through live learning new lessons every single day. We are allowed to dream, to imagine and to grow stronger in whatever our abilities are. We are allowed to fail and be successful. We are allowed to love and to lose love. We are allowed to climb higher and then fall back down. We are so very unique in this world. However, through all this, we are always filled with our God-nature and it is how we are using it that is important.

Remember that everything is a choice in our life. Are you choosing to make the best of the true you, the inner self? It is all a matter of the choices you make.
