40 Tips for a Better 2013

40 Tips for a Better 2013
Â
Here we are at the beginning of 2013 - the year of manifestation. I wanted to share these tips with each and every one of you as I am sure, they will improve your life if you input them into your new year.
Â
Â
1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. While you walk, smile. It is the ultimate antidepressant.
Â
Â
2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day. Take this 10 minutes (or even 5 minutes if pressed for time) to think of everything that is going RIGHT and not wrong and to give thanks for what you do have. There are so many people out there who have it much worse than you.
Â
Â
3. Buy a DVR and record your late night shows and get more sleep. Sleep affects your weight, your health and your mental stability.
Â
Â
4. When you wake up in the morning, complete the following statement, "My purpose is to __________ today."
Â
Â
5. Live with the 3 E's - Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy.
Â
Â
6. Play more games and read more books than you did in 2012.
Â
Â
7. Make time to practice meditation and prayer. They will provide you with your daily fuel for your busy lives.
Â
Â
8. Spend time with people over the age of 70 and under the age of 6. There is so much wisdom to learn from people in their 70's, 80's and older. Take time to absorb the information that comes from them. As far as kids go, try to remember what it was like to find everything so exciting and so new. You can learn a lot from kids.
Â
Â
9. Dream more while you are awake.
Â
Â
10. Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants. Eat less food that is manufactured in factories.
Â
Â

Â
Â
12. Try to make at least 3 people smile each day.

13. Clean clutter from your home, your car, your desk and let the new and flowing energy come into your life.
Â
Â
14. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip, or issues of the past, negative thoughts or things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment.

Â
Â
16. Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a college kid with a maxed out credit card.
Â
Â
17. Smile and laugh more. It will keep the negative blues away.
Â
Â
18. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
Â
Â
19. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
Â
Â
20. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

Â
Â

Â
Â
40. May your troubles be less. May your blessings be more. May nothing but happiness come through your door. It just doesn't happen on it's own, YOU NEED to stop thinking negative thoughts and focus on wishing good things in your life and everyone around you.
